It’s the holiday season which means it is the cookie baking season. Whether parents and kids are making reindeer or Christmas trees there are several ways to have fun with holiday cookies. Today this blog focuses on how parents can make all the traditional favorite chocolate chip cookies and teach their kids a thing or two at the same time. Parents teach their children the importance of ingredients and then they throw in a Dunking Buddy to teach them about its fun.
Each Ingredient Has its Purpose
One of the tough things kids have to learn is that every ingredient has its rhyme and reason. And that you cannot just throw two cups of flour into the recipe when it only comes with one and expect no change to happen. So use this as an opportunity to teach them about why ingredients are called for and what would happen if they messed around with the right amount.
Dunking Buddy Fun
A Dunking Buddy is not something that everyone has (yet) but it is something that can really help parents spark an interest in science in their children. Here’s how it works:
- The Dunking Buddy tray holds two cookies and goes inside the glass
- The Dunking Buddy holds the tray in the glass and goes on the outside of the glass
- Slide the handle down to submerge the cookies
- Leave for the desired amount of time
- Slide the handle up to remove the cookies from the milk
With this useful tool, kids can have a deliciously Dunked Chocolate Chip Cookie every time. They don’t have to worry about it breaking off in the milk or crumbling in their hands. Use a Dunking Buddy this holiday season and start to create a new holiday memory with your kids.
